M640T: How to MODIFY the PLC LADDER
This video shows the procedure how to MODIFY the PLC LADDER. The logic is for coil F0 which is "ALARM 200: THERMAL TRIP (EMERGENCY STOP)" signal
PROCEDURE:
Be sure to save the current version of the ladder!
From the Position Screen:
1. Press the Diagnos key.
2. Press the Version key.
3. Press the Ladder Monitor key.
4. Press the Run/Stop key.
5. Type 1 then press Input to stop the PLC.
6. There will be an empty key between the Run/Stop and the End key. Press it.
7. Press the Right Arrow key.
8. Type 1131 then press Input.
9. You will see the following keys displayed:
Read Write Insert Delete Convt
10. Use these keys to edit the ladder. When finished, press Convt (Convert).
11. Press the End key.
12. This takes you out of edit mode and the Ladder Monitor. The machine will be in Emergency Stop because the PLC is still stopped.
13. Get back into the Ladder Monitor.
14. Press the Run/Stop key.
15. Type 0 then Input to start the PLC.
16. Press End.
